If you’re traveling to a developing nation, Charity Begins will help you benefit the community you’re visiting by connecting you with a local organization that needs your support. We’ll research your destination, identify a local non-profit, collect the needed supplies, deliver them to your door*, and arrange for you to meet the non-profit upon arrival and deliver the supplies.
 
Cost
In most cases there is no charge for travelers to check a second bag on international flights. For more details about luggage on international flights please review your airline's baggage rules & regulations.
 
Two months before your trip
To get us thinking about where you’re going and how we can work together, please send us details about your trip at least two months in advance. If your trip isn’t fully planned, just fill in what you can.

*Charity Begins can deliver bags of necessities to travellers leaving out of the northeast (NY, NJ, MD, CT and DC). For all others we will help connect you with a non-profit at your destination and give you tips on how to collect necessities from your local resources. Unfortunately, we don't have the funding to ship supplies to our travelers from all over the United States and Canada.
